replaced by dry warm ones. Cover the patient with a blanket.

Warm the room in which
patient lies. |

If the patient is conscious,
give warm sweetened drinks. |

DO NOT WARM THE PATIENT DIRECTLY WITH HOT WATER BOTTLES
OR AN ELECTRIC BLANKET THIS COULD PUT TOO GREAT A STRAIN
ON HIS FEEBLY BEATING HEART. NEVER GIVE ALCOHOL. |

Raise his head so that
an excess of blood cannot go towards brain. |

Sprinkle cold water on
his head and face. |

Do not give the patient
